Gen Motors Reveals New Problem Solving Worksheet

Detroit - In the first of many steps aimed at improving it's business, General Motors today adopted a new problem solving methodology that it hopes will lead it to increased productivity and quicker problem resolution.

G.M. CEO Rick Wagoner indicated today that this step is one of many ideas to come that the firm will be adopting to better reinvent their business and stay competitive in the new global marketplace.

We stand here today and recognize that we are often slow to market and that we risk complete failure if we do not solve the problems facing us quicker. Wagoner said that "We expect that our new problem solving methodology will assist us in closing the gap with our competitors".

This chart is revealing, but perhaps no more so than the fact that taxpayers contributed 30-times the value of Chrysler's bailout from decades before with zero expectation of result.
