On September 24th, VH-1's "Cryptomania Tour" will kick off in Cleveland with some of the marquee names in the music business performing together for the first time in decades.
Perhaps the most highly-anticipated musical act are The Doors. However, this is not a tour of substitutes. Legendary singer, Jim Morrison, will have his body exhumed especially for the tour.
Keyboardist Ray Manzarek explains.
"This is going to be special, man. Because Jim had such a 'presence', you know? And regardless if he's dead, it will give off another dimension to the eerie vibe, you know?"
A microphone will be placed near Jim's corpse in hopes he might have something shocking to say like, "Hey girls, wanna see my tibula?"
Opening acts include Badfinger (fresh from their "Gallow's Pole" tour), Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Phil Collins.
